Be a budget planner and keep track of where your money goes

By admin | February 24, 2010

You may have already asked yourself the question “Why should I become a budget planner?”  Here is one of the reasons why.

1 – You need to keep track of where your money goes.Spending money today is far easier than it has ever been and the internet has made that process even easier.  At least in the “old days” if you wanted to buy an item on impulse you had to go to the store to do that so you could think twice about it but today if you want it now you can get it now.  Unfortunately this leads to spending excessively and often beyond your ability to repay.  Have you paid attention to your credit card statement lately?  How many things have you bought that you have absolutely no recollection of?  Being a budget planner will change that because it will help you identify where your money is going.  Since we are using more debit and credit cards to pay for things it is even more critical to do this.  There is something about that little plastic card in your hands that doesn’t make it feel like spending and you need to change that very quickly.  Remember it’s your money so you should know where it goes.
