It Was a Gift

My wife and her father were working in the basement when I got home from work the other day. I asked them what they were up to, and my wife told me that her father had dropped by and told her that he got us one of those energy efficient hot water heaters that he saw in an ad. I told him that it was very nice of him, and I would gladly pay him for it, but he told me that he would have no such thing happen. He wanted to give it to us as a gift. I was blown away.
