Newlyweds Learning the Ropes

My daughter and her husband are putting a new roof on their home. I told them to investigate all their building material costs before hiring contractors. This way they will not be talked into paying to much for the work. If a person goes into a housing repair with no idea of the cost of material, it is very easy to be ripped off. It is easy to find the price per square for metal roofs on the Internet. If they do their homework they can save a lot of money. I am glad my forty years of homeowners experience has been able to help out the newlyweds.
