Car Insurance for Women can Save a Bundle

By admin | February 14, 2010

Insurance premiums are calculated based on risk factors.  Risk factors are based on statistics, which includes gender, age, size of the car, mileage usage, type of car, and the likelihood you will file a claim in the future.  Male drivers are considered more of a risk factor in determining insurance eligibility.  Female drivers  on the other hand are considered less risky because they tend to drive at a slower pace.  Therefore, premiums are lower in comparison to male participants. Statistic shows insurance companies charge lower premiums for female drivers. Knowing this information prior to purchase car insurance for women has saved me a quite a bit on my insurance policy.
